Meet Dr. Kevin Albee

Dr. Kevin Albee has been a Leavenworth, Kansas resident since the age of eight. He has been a member of this community his entire life and has lived here except for his college years and Army enlistment.

 Dr. Albee, or Kevin as he prefers to be called, is active in the community. He spends many hours every week at the local community theatre, The River City Community Players, both on the stage and back stage. Kevin has been a director for many of the youth productions at the RCCP. He finds great joy working with the talented youth of Leavenworth.

 Kevin graduated with an associates in computer science from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1983. He joined the Army as a heavy infantry man in 1984 and was Honorably discharged in 1988. While in the Army he completed two correspondence courses, One in electronics repair and the second in computer design and repair. He then attended Kansas State University, “GO Wildcats GO,” In May of 1990 He was awarded a Bachelors of Science, Magna Cum Laude, emphasis in Speech Pathology. In December of 1991 he was awarded a Masters of Arts. After years of practice, he returned to school and in May of 2009 was awarded his Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida.

 In December of 1991 Kevin joined his father L. David Albee at A&D Hearing Center, Inc. 

 Dr. Albee served on the Kansas Hearing Society Board for 6 years as a board member then as the treasurer/secretary for two years, Vice-president for two years, and President for two years.

 He was appointed by the Governor of Kansas to the Board of Hearing aid examiners on 6/23/14 and served for 6 years.  He continues to assist with testing.
